Sunday, October 6, 1-1:30 PM
Polk County Jail; 1985 NE 51st Pl, Des Moines, Iowa 50313
We gather to publicly confess the role of white churches, across the nation—through silence or active support—in enabling a political climate in which communities of color, religious minorities, and queer people are being degraded and targeted in word and deed.
Offering supports American Friends Service Committee and their immigration rights efforts. Make checks out to "AFSC." Coffee will be provided. The service will be live-streamed on Facebook.
Please consider carpooling to reserve parking spaces for families visiting their loved ones at the jail.
